Dear Edward Hyatt World Language Academy Families,

It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I welcome you to the 25-26 School Year at Edward Hyatt World Language Academy (EHWLA)! As principal of this exceptional Dual Language Immersion (DLI) school, I am honored to partner with you in providing a dynamic and enriching educational experience for your child.

At EHWLA, we are committed to the core principles of dual language immersion, which are known as the Three Pillars:

1. Bilingualism and Biliteracy – Students develop fluency and literacy in both English and Spanish.
2. High Academic Achievement – Students engage in rigorous academic content aligned to state standards in both program languages.
3. Sociocultural Competence – Students cultivate respect for cultural diversity, global awareness, and positive identity development.
   
   

Our goal is for every student to attain high levels of proficiency in both their first and second language, equipping them to succeed in today’s multicultural and multilingual world. The EHWLA staff is deeply committed to fostering academic excellence across all core content areas through culturally and linguistically responsive teaching practices.
